1.    Silver wishes campaign has come to South Lincoln again this year.  Bring in your Silver Change in order to contribute to your local hospital.  The money you raise buys expensive equipment and helps with services that keep our community healthy.  The homeroom which brings in the most change by weight wins an ice cream party!  Just so we can ensure fairness, when you bring in loonies or toonies, they will be worth twice the weight of your nickels, dimes and quarters.  Start digging in your pockets and couch cushions TODAY!

 

2.    Anyone interested in participating in Math contests this year, please see Ms. Green today.

 

3.    Athletics is kicking off 2nd semester with Blind Volleyball intramurals!!! There will be a Junior Division and a Senior Division. Teams are co-ed and consist of 6 players a side.  Sign up now!!! League will start next week!

 

4.    Last semester’s art students make your way back to room 10 to pick up your creations. Mr. Silverthorne cannot hold on to them forever!

 

5.    Any of Mrs. Robinson's semester one students who want to pick up marked assignments you can do so until Monday. Any assignments not picked up will be recycled as of Tuesday morning.

 

6.    Anime Club – there will be a meeting today at lunch.

 

7.    A reminder to the girls skating team of your practice on Monday. Girls with outstanding fees, please pay as soon as possible.

 

8.    Semester 1 report cards will be distributed in homeroom today. If you have a spare period 1, you may pick up your report card in the Guidance office.

 

9.    Ireland travellers--crucial meetings in the Library pre-departure, Thursday Feb. 9 and Thursday March 1.   That's all Ireland travellers.

 

10. Attention all senior boys basketball players - there will be a practice Monday and Wednesday of next week at 7:00am. Only two games left in regular season, so attendance in mandatory.

 

11. It's Friday, and that means 20 minutes of uninterrupted silent reading in MSIP!  Make sure that you bring some quality reading material to your MSIP class today.
