ANNOUNCEMENTS


WEDNESDAY, MARCH 10th, 2010

 

1.          Student Council will be having their Hoedown Throw down Dance on Thursday, March 11th from 6:30 p.m. - 10 p.m. Tickets will be sold outside the cafeteria at lunch for $6 or $8 at the door.

 

2.          Matchmakers will be sold outside the cafeteria for $2 a printout for the next week. All donations will go towards Haiti.

 

3.          Did you watch the Olympic gold medal hockey game? Did you jump on your feet when we scored the golden goal? Do you want to experience it again? On March 23rd, at the arena, it’s the Niagara Regional Police against our very own South Lincoln staff! Buy a ticket for $3 to witness our own gold medal game! Canada has Crosby, South Lincoln has Mr. Parks! Be sure to buy your ticket for this epic show down.

 

4.          The first co-op in-school will be held today in the Library. Attendance is mandatory for all co-op students.

 

5.          Attention all members of the Finer Things - everyone needs to go to the Library to have our photo taken for the yearbook at lunch today.

 

6.          HOMEROOM CHALLENGE! Are you ready for the new challenge? This week, eco club wants YOU to bring in re-usable water bottles to your homeroom. This goes on all week so just imagine how many points you can collect if everyone in your class brings in their water bottle each day! Help save our Earth while at the same time earning your homeroom an amazing prize.

 

7.          Grade 12 art students - at some point this week, please make your way to the art room to notify Mr. Silverthorne with your intentions to take your paintings and photo collages home. Removal before March Break would be great! See you soon.

 

8.          There will be a mandatory lunch time meeting of all OSAID members today in the resource room at 11:40 a.m. Please let Mrs. Mulder know if you are unable to attend.

 

9.          Attention swimmers!!! You will be dismissed from first period class at 8:55. Please quickly get on your bus in order that we can take attendance.

 

10.        Mr. Wilkes' period three grade 9's who are not swimming will report to room 37 (the health room). Please bring your health binder as you will be writing notes!
